Green on 19 is proud to announce that each townhome has qualified as an Energy Star New Home. To earn the Energy Star, each home must meet guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Qualified homes are at least 15% more efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code, and include additional energy-saving features that typically make them 20-30% more efficient than standard homes. With photovoltaic panels, a high performance building envelope, high-efficiency HVAC system and a whopping 42% above California's stringent Title 24 Regulations, Green on 19 outshines conventionally-constructed homes by a long shot.
